Dine by a blazing fire
What better way to take refuge from the cold than dinner in front of a blazing fire ? "Robert et Louise", a unique rôtisserie rue Vieille du Temple, is the ideal spot to tuck into a great piece of beef.
Inside it's bustling with activity : locals remaking the world over a glass of red wine, cooks busily grilling steaks on the fire. Behind the zinc bar, the patron casts a protective eye on all his petit monde in a setting which takes you from Paris to France's cosy mountain inns, with wooden tables, checked tablecloths and copper pots hanging on the stone walls.
To get started, we heartily recommend sharing a plate of herrings and charcuterie. Then onto the more serious stuff : a perfectly cooked roast rack of beef with a side of delicious buttery potatoes. No need to wish you a bon appetit.
