Place Vendôme, diamonds, limousines, mink coats and... the best sandwich in Paris. And where would that treasure be? At the Petit Vendôme, a rebellious little café where all the strained yuppies find peace, quiet and simplicity.
It's your typical Parisian ambiance, a lot of that chic crowded noisy grumbling going on. Be warned, you might have to fight to get a spot at the counter and order that o so perfect sandwich. But that first bite... Rich Saint- Nectaire or Cantal cheese, generous charcuterie, crispy baguette and crunchy gherkins. "Will that be all, Madame?"
