Surprise sandwich

Surprise sandwich

On the first floor : bread perfectly tanned. On the second floor : melted cheese, crispy breaded pork, omelette stuffed with vegetables, sweet-sour cabbage compote and a secret sauce. Faultless perfomance : this multiple floor sandwich is outrageously tasty.

Katsy and Ryo, the young owners of the Abri bistrot, are Japanese and have just come out of the Robuchon and l'Agapé kitchens. In their tiny restaurant they turn a traditional japanese meal, the Tonkatsu, into a luxury sandwich. Here are the instructions for a perfect lunch : rush to the restaurant as soon the clock strikes noon, order, and watch, at the bar, how they prepare your sandwich, that climbs, climbs, climbs... Finally, open wide your mouth and swallow up the tower.
Attention : sandwiches are only served on Mondays and Saturdays. The other days of the week, a surprise menu is waiting for you.
