Wednesday night, head off to Le Carmen, one of Paris' trendiest hotspots. A Tale of Three Cities Book Club is celebrating its first birthday, having wooed book lovers in Paris, London and Berlin : 1,000s of books swapped, 1,000s of phone numbers exchanged. At the entrance, all you have to do is part with your treasured book to enjoy a glass of champagne, your neighbours' bookshelves and a trendy DJ's set. It's no fiction, honest !
