Woodstock in a garden

Woodstock in a garden

Flash weather forecast : on Friday the 4th of May, it will be raining music, whisky and braseros on the Mac Val gardens. To begin the weekend in style, relive Woodstock in Paris at the Veillées Foodstock.

Spend an evening putting the world to rights over a campfire, a cocktail in one hand, and a burger roasted on the barbecue in the other : all is there to warm up the appeal of the banlieue which Parisians usually claim to be allergic to. Because yes, the Mac Val Museum is slightly outside of Paris, but who cares when a coach is waiting to take you there and bring you home as the clock strikes midnight. Who cares when La Femme, The Two, Joséphine Ose and other artists will rock your evening to music and hypnotic poetry. Who cares since this will definitely be one of your best evenings in Paris this Spring.

Veillées Foodstock,
May 4th, from 6.30pm to 11.30pm
Le Jardin du Mac Val, Place de la Libération, Vitry-sur-Seine
See the programme here
Tickets : 27 € , including concert, cocktails, food and a visit of the Mac Val museum (open until 8pm)
Coach from Châtelet and back : 10 €
All profits will go to "Les enfants du Congo Béthanie" a non-profit organisation helping orphans in Congo
